Hannah is a full-time lecturer at DIKA college. She has dedicated her adult life to early childhood education completing her certificate (Children Services & PERMATA), Diploma in Early Childhood Education, and Degree (HONS) in Early Childhood Education while simultaneously working or managing preschools and child care centre since 2006. Her passion in early childhood grew from her mother’s teaching and managing experiences in early childhood centres; which makes her feel that she grew up in the early childhood industry.
In 2012, she established a kindergarten and child care centre in Subang Jaya; developing her centre’s programme for young children that provides a balance between preparation for formal school and child-initiated projects. In 2020, she decided to join the academic world to share her knowledge and experiences gained to inspire future practitioners. She believes that practitioners play a crucial role in advocating for young children and supporting families; being able to facilitate and guide future practitioners at the beginning of their journey into early childhood is a privilege.
